The Foundation develops the basic principles of human solidarity, humanity and nobility and to this end encourages and rewards the creativity of the gifted artists and students of theater, film and other related arts.

In 2015, the Foundation's Board of Directors established The annual "Ruzica Sokic" Award, which is given to young promising playwrights for outstanding contribution to art, theater, film, radio and television. The award is made by Charter and cash Amount. The award is presented on Foundation Day, December 14th, ie the Tokio of Omaz dedicated to the Rose Sokic from December 14 to December 19, which dates represent the birthday and the day of death of this great one artist. Since 2015, the Foundation has been launching a project to reward young playwrights, selected on the basis of a survey several dozen respectable figures from the world of drama. This has successfully achieved one of the basic ones Ružica Sokić's wish - helping young artists, which is the primary goal of the Foundation's activities.

In the previous four years, three Annual Awards were presented "Ruzica Sokic", by: Nadi Sargin, Member of the National Theater of Serbia (2015), Jovani Gavrilovic, Member Theaters ATELJE 212 (2017) and Milica Gojkovic, Member of the Yugoslav Drama Theater (2018), while in 2016, a Special Recognition Award was given to a young and very talented student of Youth the Dadov Theater - Jelena Blagojevic.
